This is a good observation piece, Emma. Have you posted it as a review? I'm sure that Abby J would be happy to read this on Amazon (or any other bookseller's site!)
Ooh, that's a great idea. I hadn't thought to share it anywhere, though as it's positive, I would be happy to share it. And thank you!! 💜 Is there somewhere that you look regularly and trust for reviews?
Amazon's the obvious place and it's really helpful as far as boosting books in their algorithm (especially for "smaller" books that haven't gotten as many reviews yet). But I also have posted to Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, and BookBub; authors can follow reviewers on BookBub, which is cool. LibraryThing is another site, but I'm not sure who uses it! I tend to not buy books based on reviews, but a lot of people do. Also check any indie bookstore sites to see if they accept reviews; some do, some don't. Ditto with your local library system. Mine allows reviews on its online card catalogue, but I'm not sure how to do it, so I haven't bothered.
Great list! Thanks! I'll definitely check out BookBub, I haven't found that one yet. Sounds intriguing. And great idea for the library! I'll definitely write out a (shortened!) review for the book as I borrowed it from my local library. Any way I can support libraries...I'm very happy to do. I'm terrified of a world without local libraries.
Haha, it does! I'll write it in my notebook and promptly forget about it until I dig this notebook out from the pile on my shelves and find it in a decade!

A world without libraries ... that sounds like an idea for a dystopian novel, doesn't it?!
